Dr. Leftwich and his team are completely dedicated to you and your family's health and security during the COVID-19 pandemic. We follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The procedures we've put in place adhere strictly to each of those agencies' recommendations, all in an effort to prevent and mitigate infection spread. Our efforts include:

COVID Screening Questions
We ask each patient to respond to a series of COVID screening questions before and during their appointment check-in.

Temperature Checks
Every member of our staff has their temperature checked upon arrival. We'll also check each patent's temperature when they enter our office.

Masks Worn by Office Staff and Patients
We ask our staff to wear masks throughout their entire workday. We also ask each patient/visitor to wear a mask upon entering our practice, only to remove their mask when seated at their dental chair for treatment.

Appointment Staggering
We will be managing appointments to minimize patients coming into unnecessary contact with others.

Patient Companions Wait in Cars
We ask that anyone accompanying the patient to their appointment wait in their cars. This will help us mitigate traffic and viral spread within our practice and other building tenants.

Shield Partitions
A variety of clear shield partitions will be implemented throughout the office to keep our patients and staff protected.

HEPA Air Filters
Our office will be implementing HEPA air purifiers throughout the practice, ensuring an extra layer of air purification in the instance of any airborne viral particles.
